Monticello Hotel in Longview, WA was originally built in 1923 and featured an ornamental plaster ceiling for their ballroom - hidden by a suspended ceiling installed in the 90's. Due to the cable system used to hang the suspended ceiling, most of the original ornamental plaster had suffered.
Over 15 rubber molds had to be made to repair the damaged plaster and restore the ballroom ceiling to it's former glory. The same ballroom ceiling mold was then replicated, scaled down 1/3 of it's original size and used in a separate, additional room. Completed in 2017.
